Most cases of monkeypox have been reported in African countries, but the recent surge of cases in countries like the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia have shaken the health department of these countries.

The mortality report or death ratio of monkeypox is not available in the United States as we have not recorded any cases of monkeypox. In African countries, the mortality rate or death ratio of monkeypox is around 0 to 11%. At the same time, the death ratio of monkeypox is much higher in children as compared to adults.
